Lord Alton concerned about situation in Pakistan.


Lord Alton has a heart for the Persecuted church of Pakistan


The BPCA attended the House of Lords on an invite from Lord Alton on 27th April 2011, focused on the concerns regarding persecution and injustice in Pakistan. A brief meeting with Lord Alton led to a 1 hour private meeting with a member of his office Luke de Pulford.

Lord Alton and Luke described a genuine concern for the suffering Christian minority in Pakistan and expressed grief at the loss of former Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti.

    It is wonderful that you met with Lord Alton. Did he gave any surety to stop these injustices in Pakistan? However we are thankful for their deep concerns.
