The British Pakistani Christian Association is to hold it's next Protest March on the 31st of July. This is the Anniversary of the Korian incident and 1 day before the anniversary of the Gojra attack.
We are looking for performers to take part in a praise and worship session in front of the Pakistani Embassy that will start form 12:00 - 14:00. So if you are a budding drama group, poet, singer, or musician please do make contact.
We will be erecting a stage and will have a PA that can serve up to 10 mics.
We are also looking for speakers and pastors who would like to speak both before, during and after the protest that will be held from 14:00 - 16:00 ending up at 10 Downing Street.
Our first planning meeting is to be held at the Ley Street Centre, Ley Street, Ilford on the 19th June from 12:00 - 15:00. Lunch will be served at the meeting.
Please come along and tell us what was right and wrong about the last event and what we should do at the next event. This meeting is open to all not just leaders as we want holistic input into what we hope to make into an annual event to push for equal rights, justice, and peace in Pakistan and the abrogation of the Blasphemy Law.
If you can make it to the planning meeting please let us know asap so we can cater for an appropriate number of people.
We will send out flyers about the protest to local churches in the coming weeks.
