MP Lee Scott has raised Asia's plight with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office

MP Lee Scott the Conservative MP for Ilford North has confirmed to us that he will not be able to attend Saturday's protest, due to a prior commitment.  However, he will be attending our protest on the 2nd July calling for positive reform or abrogation of the Blasphemy Law of Pakistan.  

In response to our early call to action in regard to the Asia Bibi case he had informed the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, of the situation with Asia Bibi. He has in no uncertain term condemned the breach of human rights that has occurred in Asia's case in his letter.

MP Lee Scott has proven to be a staunch supporter of better freedom, equality and justice in Pakistan and I hope that as many of you as possible, will come to the July 2nd protest next year to support us and him in calling for an end to second class citizenship in Pakistan.  Below I have scanned an image of his letter for your perusal:
