Over 400 visitors attend Coventry Masih Sangat!

Wilson handed our flyers during the lunch break.

Choirs large and small lead worship

The worship was powerful and God's presence could be felt at the Sangat.

Wilson described the awful treatment of Shazia Bashir and her family.

Many visitors learnt about the dire situation for Christians in Pakistan for the first time.

On Saturday 28th May at St Paul's Church in Coventry over 400 Asian Christians from the Indian Subcontinent enjoyed a full day of praise, worship, prayers and seminars in a major annual calendar event for our community.  Visitors, came mainly from the north of England, with Sheffield, Birmingham, and Liverpool were well represented.

The day was a festival of colour and spirituality and was a great show of the unity and camaraderie within our community.

Wilson was invited to talk about persecution and inequality in Pakistan and took time out during lunch time to hand out flyers for our forthcoming protest.  Many visitors confirmed the support for the protest confirming they would be joining us.

The images are from my telephone I will be requesting a full report and pictures from the organisers..
