More of the same - but at least it shows people are listening!

I have received a copy of the letter sent to Brother Kenneth Massey from His MP Gordon Prentice. The content mirrors the response I received directly from the Foreign Office earlier. It seems like this is just a standard letter they are sending out and does highlight their concerns and willingness to help. However, We need them to take much tougher action if we are to see equality in Pakistan and for this I do ask you all to keep challenging the political leaders of this country to take action.
Dear Brother Wilson,

I am sending you a copy of letter we received from our MP Mr. Gordon Prentice. This letter is prior to the 8th September attack on the Church and the houses in Jhethe Key village in the sub-district Sambarial of Sialkot district, Pakistan. We will be raising this with our MP in our next correspondence and keep you posted.

After 1st August incident in Gojra, the Government of Pakistan has failed to take any steps towards prevention of these kinds of attacks, as we have another report of incident in Sambarial on the 8th September. The Government of Pakistan must provide protection and security to the Christians and repeal the blasphemy law that is being used to kill and terrorise the innocent indigenous Pakistani Christians.

We need to do all we can individually and collectively. I suggest using this blog as means of communication and urging all our Asian organisations to support one another. Here in UK we maybe an ethnic minority, don't feel stigmatised as Christians we are not a minority.

I urge all our brothers and sisters to write to their MPS, speak to your local councillors, and increase the awareness.

Kind Regards,
Kenneth Massey
