BPCA to meet Muslim Peer Lord Nazir at House of Lords Memorial for Shahbaz Bhatti

Lord Nazir Ahmed will give tribute to the humanitarian Shahbaz Bhatti.
Wilson and Alex have been invited to speak at a memorial to Shahbaz Bhatti organised by Lord Nazir Ahmed, to be held tonight.

Other invited guests include former Minister of Minorities James Shera and Inspector General (IG) of Azad Jammu Kashmir Police - Dr Tariq Khokar.

The event will take place at the House of Lords and we ask Christians to pray for a positive outcome from this tribute.

We pray for a better awareness of the difficulties faced by Christians and other minorities in Pakistan.

We also pray and hope that the event will cement in the minds of those in authority, the need to continue the work that has been developed through the work of Shahbaz Bhatti.

Shahbaz Bhatti should now be recognised as a National Hero, so that it will inspire the next generation of humanitarians.

Please also pray for our timely arrival, as we have to leave the Memorial at SOAS at around 17:35 and still arrive at the House for Lords for 18:00.
